About Us

Mom Making Moves LLC was founded by Shanaé Murraine, a devoted mother of two children—one with autism and ADHD, and the other on the autism spectrum. Through her daily journey of therapies, doctor’s appointments, school transitions, and extracurricular activities, she witnessed firsthand the challenges families face in finding safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation. These experiences inspired her to create Mom Making Moves: a service dedicated to bridging the gap in accessible, understanding transportation for children and young adults with special needs.

At Mom Making Moves, the mission is to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities and their families by providing safe, reliable, and compassionate transportation to essential healthcare, education, and community services.

Founder Shanaé Murraine brings a powerful blend of personal passion and professional expertise. Before launching Mom Making Moves, she served more than 12 years as a Public Health Advisor at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, where she worked to ensure underserved populations had access to critical healthcare resources. She also spent 14 years as a Contracting Officer Level III, writing RFPs, RFQs, and reviewing proposals, giving her deep knowledge of contracts and compliance. Later, she transitioned into Information Technology and Program Management at Microsoft, strengthening her skills in systems, operations, and organizational leadership.

Today, Shanaé combines her public service background, corporate expertise, and lived experience as a mother to build a transportation service that goes beyond simply getting from point A to point B. Mom Making Moves is dedicated to empowering families, easing transitions, and ensuring that every child and young adult has the support they need to thrive.​
